Dear Coaches & Team Managers,
Thank you for volunteering to coach or manager a Gungahlin team this year.
All U10 to U18 teams must pay the referees before each game, and each team will be advanced money by the club to meet these payments. The table below shows how much each team will be advanced, and the amount you must pay each week to the referees assigned to your games.
Can all managers please:
Complete the Referee Advance Form (download below), with your nominated bank account;
Return the completed form to [email protected]
Please note the following:
Teams are advanced different amounts based on the Division. This is because we do not have enough referee’s to provide linesmen at each game;
Please do not pay volunteer linesmen, only those that are official referees.
Each week ask the Referees to sign the Annual Acquittal form
What happens if I have exhausted my teams advance before the end of the season:
The amounts advanced are estimated based on our expectations for the number of referee payments you will have to make in the season. Each club provides the referees for home games, and it is difficult to predict how many referees will be provided at away games and how many games will be rained out in the season. Some teams may have excess funds at the end of the season, and others may exhaust the funds towards the end of the season.
Should you spend all the advance before the end of the season, send a copy of the referee acquittal [email protected] and I send a second advance.
Any unspent funds must be returned to the club at the end of the season.
